Before anything else, a wire wheel has to bolt onto your car. That comes down to the bolt pattern: how many lug studs your hub has and how far apart they sit. Get it right and the rest is style.
What the wire wheel bolt pattern numbers mean
A bolt pattern like 5x114.3 means five lug studs on a circle 114.3 mm across. You will also see it in inches: 5x114.3 is the same as 5x4.5. Player lists every fitment in millimeters.
Look it up first
The quickest way is the Wire Wheel Fitment & Plus-Size Guide. Pick the year, make and model and it shows the bolt pattern, hub diameter, offset range and factory tire, plus the Player wheels drilled for that pattern.
Measuring it yourself
- Four or six studs: measure from the center of one stud straight across to the center of the opposite stud.
- Five studs: there is no stud straight across, so measure from the back edge of one stud to the center of the stud two over.
- Measure twice, and call us if the number lands between two common patterns.
